Week 11: Spirit Junkie.

We’re getting deep this week. Past the surface, beyond your ego, your spirit is in the spotlight.

Gabby Bernstein is a new age soul sista. She takes her lead from A Course in Miracles and Marianne WIlliamson, and leads the readers through their own journey towards “self-love and miracles” - if you can check your ego at the door and trust in the book’s exercises. She has a rocky past that led her to understand what’s real versus perceived, what parts of life we truly control, and how to live a life you love, free from fear and completely egoless.

Sounds pretty great, right?

I’m fortunate enough to live and work in an environment where the ideas of A Course in Miracles and Spirit Junkie are a way of life - being egoless, powerful, having integrity with yourself, and exploring your true potential in life - so this book wasn’t so totally groundbreaking for me. That being said, I can say that I am writing from a place of truly understanding and living the material. It takes a high level of self-awareness for someone to pick up this book - to get the idea that hey, maybe I don’t know everything. Maybe there is more to life than the stories I create and the perspective from which I choose to live. On top of this, it takes bravery and a true commitment to stand for yourself and choose to develop into your best self, living your best life.

If you’re a new age young person, living life passionately and with an open mind, I recommend this book to you - you will enjoy it. On the other hand, if you don’t already identify yourself as someone who is living powerfully and fully, then you, dear reader, stand to grow immeasurably and see positivity and love abound in your life if you open yourself to a perspective such as this - I recommend this book especially to you.

Live a life you love.

Until next week,

Sara
